It is with great pleasure that I present this brief introduction to Televisió de Catalunya. I hope it conveys an idea of both the quality and quantity of our network's output.

TVC broadcasts in the Catalan language with an international vision. Our two terrestrial stations--TV3 and Canal 33--and our satellite channels--TVC Sat and TVC International--cater to viewers' interests by offering choice programming for both general and specific audience segments.

From its inception, TVC has contributed significantly to the development of the region's audiovisual industry, encouraging production, creativity and new talent.
